Emily Gray

Chair & current resident

Emily has lived in The Grampians since 2006 and was formerly Co-Chair of the Residents' Association Committee before coordinating the collective acquisition of the head lease and freehold in 2014. 

As a property manager, Emily is adept at managing large-scale building renovations, handling insurance claims and negotiating tenancy agreements. She has also worked in a residential managing agent's office, which provides valuable perspective and insight.

Emily is keen to get residents the best possible value for their service charge and to make The Grampians a great place to invest and live in.

Sarah Murphy

Co-chair

Sarah is a project director and digital lead with over 18 years experience in broadcast media and online communications. She has worked for a range of media, entertainment and arts organisations such as the BBC, The Guardian, Disney, Universal Music, Serpentine Galleries and the Royal College of Art.


She has lived in The Grampians since 2010 and brings her digital and communication skills to the board as well as first hand knowledge of running a Limited Company.

Sarah manages the Maurice Webb website and tenant liason communications sub-committee.

Roderick Corrie

Non-resident owner

Roderick has owned a property in The Grampians since 1996 and a second which was purchased in 1999 via an investment company. He been a director of nine (and currently six) Freehold Management companies including Maurice Webb Ltd. 


Roderick has held various executive and non-executive director roles (including Chairman of the Board) for a number of private and listed companies in the UK and Canada. His experience covers a wide range of areas including strategic advice, corporate finance, private investment, manufacturing, property, leasing and other trading activities.

Jacqueline McCouat

Current resident

Greis is a senior business analyst leading large IT projects with a focus on risk management for government entities and financial services organisations. She brings experience in the tax, insurance and investment industries and tender/procurement processes and evaluation.
 

Greis has been a member of the board since the freehold acquisition. Her main objective is to balance and prioritise the investment required to improve and maintain the building, whilst keeping the costs down.

Damian has been a leaseholder in The Grampians since 2011 with his partner. He has lived in the building and been an active member of the Residents’ Association and more recently the freehold company, after playing a key role in the acquisition of the freehold.

 

Damian has a background in building refurbishment and construction and is interested in bringing The Grampians back to its former glory.

Jacqui is a Communications, PR and Analyst Relations specialist with a background in IT Services, Management Consulting, Marketing, Operations and Human Resources.  She has extensive experience across business sectors including Hospitality and Travel. Jacqui also has a Psychotherapy Practice in central London and is a Board Trustee for the UK Council for Psychotherapy. 
Previously Jacqui has undertaken property and buildings refurbishment projects.

 

She has lived in The Grampians since 2014 and loves the sense of community, character and design of the building.

Samantha Madigan

Jonathan Evans

Current resident

Sam is a Technology Strategy Manager for an Investment Bank. She has previous experience in managing global technology projects in oil and gas, commodities trading and financial services. Sam also has experience in residential property management and renovations.

 

Sam has lived in the Grampians for nearly 7 years and is excited to work with her fellow directors and the wider community to carry on making the Grampians a great place to live.

Jonathan has lived in The Grampians since 2000. He is active in the film industry in marketing and production.

 

Jonathan leads on the board's finance and insurance committee and has worked to research and stay up to date on the best value insurance cover for a building of this size.
 

His aim is to seek the best value for money for any improvements to the building, bearing in mind both ability to pay and potential property value growth in the future.

Frances Walton

Current resident

Frances has lived at The Grampians for 35 years and was a member of the original Residents’ Association. She has seen the building through many changes and has comprehensive knowledge of the complex issues involved in managing the block. 

Frances' career at the BBC as a production manager saw her responsible for a wide range of administrative and budgeting tasks, crucial for programme making.

The welfare of The Grampians, both the wonderful building and the people, is very important to her.
